Central Server Works is excited to announce I Wanna Be Adored, its first solo exhibition with English artist Holly Silius and her debut solo exhibition. The exhibition features a compelling series of sculptural works, exploring the human body and Silius's ideology as an artist, which is rooted in self-exploration and the subversion of traditional ideals of the human form. Her multidisciplinary practice finds its inspiration from the studies of morphology and these particular exhibits, showcase her ability to collaborate with her subjects. She uses their bodies as canvases and they become the physical, central, focus of her works. This exhibition features the cast likenesses of Silius’ past collaborators -including the infamous Michael B. Jordan, Langley Fox, Penny Slinger, and George Clinton among others, in stone, metal, and wax. Other commissions include Adidas X Bad Bunny and Kim Kardashian.
