You are warmly invited to join us on June 8th, 12-8pm for an opening reception of "Digital Diaspora: Futuristic Landscapes in Cyber Age" at SCAA Gallery, located near CalArts (22508 6th St, Santa Clarita, CA 91321). The two-artist show features Takashi Horisaki (b.1974, Tokyo; based in LA) and Tiger Chengliang Cai (b. 1984, Shanghai; based in New York). Together, they will transport the audience into a psychedelic cyberspace, filled with donuts and candies, critiquing our consumption of information in a two-dimensional perspective. The concept of digital diaspora, crafted by myself, reflects the notion of human migration that has changed from geographic to cybernetic.
