Block Gallery is pleased to present our second group exhibition, DECOMP, 2024 This exhibition showcases 2D works by seven contemporary artists who use the decomposition of color and form to abstract the spatial and emotional relationship between parts of a whole. Selected pieces explore themes of sexual and racial identity, symbolism, and pop culture iconography, inviting viewers to experience each artist's perspective and their sense of connection, or perhaps disconnection, to a larger cultural collective. This Exhibition will be opening in partnership with Gallery Association of Los Angeles (GALA) annual Gallery Weekend. The opening will include a number of vendors, from clothes to jewelry, home decor, fragrances and more. Each vendor has been carefully curated to fit the aestethitic and ethos of our exhibition and our Gallery. We will also have food, drinks, coffee, and music all day from 11a - 6p!
