Underground comic artist and American painter Guy Colwell is back at La Luz with a collection of itty-bitty, teeny-weeny paintings and ink drawings. Some are early studies of larger, famous works or smaller narratives better suited for a tiny canvas. Over 100 tiny paintings by Guy Colwell will be exhibiting and with a huge variety of content; from animal portraits to nude figures to more lowbrow content. ____ Local artist and muralist Ashley Dreyfus will be exhibiting a new series of artworks with colorful, vintage inspired palettes and 60s/70s era nostalgia.
