a reception for the solo show of Eugenia Moreeva, an abstract painter, sculptor, and performance artist currently studying at CalArts, across multiple media, that ponders just how it is that dinosaurs think about other dinosaurs, and explores various modalities of perception by which humans categorize, temporalize and consume aspects of the non-human world, including in Art. the show features at its conceptual center the artist's nearly 10-foot tall sculpture of a brontosaurus, amongst a tableau of various other joyful and surreal abstraction and spatial interventions
