Lucky Cat Labs Presents - ANJA ULFELDT: INNER LIFE 620 Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90014 November 24th - December 20th Curated by Liana Bandžiulytė Reception on DTLA Art Night: Dec 5th, 4-10pm On view by appointment. Please contact luckycatlabs@gmail.com Through visual, auditory, and haptic interaction, Anja Ulfeldt’s solo show explores the shape of the structures that influence our well-being and connections to each other. Human habitats are made of infrastructure such as buildings, plumbing and electricity, as well as less tangible resources such as time, creative space, and community. What are the parallels between physical structures and political frameworks? What nurtures our bodies, what gives us agency, what disrupts stability? The work is not complete without the viewer; each installation encourages playful and contemplative interaction with emerging and declining technologies to experience the fleeting but urgent nature of each moment.
