To honor French-Chinese modernist painter Sanyu and his transcendent body of work centered around floral motifs, we are honored to welcome Gao Panpan, a Bay Area edible installation artist, to guide us on a journey of sensory discovery. Her enchanting installation event, Blossoms and Jade Feast, reimagines Sanyu’s masterpieces in a groundbreaking fusion of visual and culinary art. Each dish draws inspiration from the themes and vibrant palette of Sanyu’s paintings, harmoniously blending form, color, and flavor to craft an unforgettable experience. In this new era, with innovative approaches, we pay homage to Sanyu’s timeless genius, inviting you to immerse yourself in a breathtaking celebration of art and taste. Time: Session 1, 12/14/2024, 3-5PM; Session 2, 12/15/2024, 2-4PM. Tickets are limited (25 seats per session). Visit https://tinyurl.com/phtwv3sa to reserve via Eventbrite.
