Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles (KCCLA, Director Sangwon Jung), in partnership with the Korean Artists Association of Southern California (KAASC, President Yun Sun Jeon), proudly presents Beneath a Shared Sky: A Legacy of Art, a special exhibition commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Korean National Liberation. The exhibition opens with a reception on Thursday, February 6, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at KCCLA’s Art Gallery (5505 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036).
Featuring over 40 works by eight distinguished Korean American and American artists—Boon Yen Cho, Robert Cunningham, Tim Doyle, Eric Johnson, Jin Sil Kim, Sunny H. Kim, Jung Yeun Shin, and Ben Zask—the exhibition highlights shared cultural heritage and artistic achievements. Through paintings, sculptures, and mixed media, it fosters intergenerational dialogue and celebrates enduring Korea-U.S. artistic exchanges.
Organized by KCCLA and KAASC, Beneath a Shared Sky runs from February 6 to February 27, 2025.
