Join Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions (LACE) and legendary artist and filmmaker Susan Mogul at the Philosophical Research Society for the world premiere of her latest film, Tell Me About Your Mother (2024), which investigates matrilineal lineage, domesticity and creativity. The screening will also feature other films by Mogul, including The Pencil Test (2023), Moms’ Move (2018), and Sing O Barren Woman (2000). Following the screening, LACE’s Curator and Director of Programs, Selene Preciado, moderates a conversation with Susan Mogul and artists Nao Bustamante and Yuchi Ma to contextualize their video art practice.
