03/27/2025, 7:00 PM Exhibition Closing: On The Edge Join us and artist Till Nowak on Thursday, March 27th, 2025 from 7-9:30 PM for the closing reception for the exhibition ON THE EDGE. Till Nowak is known for his interdisciplinary work in fine arts, architectural installations, short films, and contributions to Academy Award-winning feature films. In his work, Nowak critically observes themes of civilization and social polarization. For more than 20 years, he has been experimenting with dimensionality as a metaphor for the relative nature of viewpoints. We share spaces, like the city of Los Angeles, but reality appears different from every person’s perspective. In this exhibition, the spectator’s standpoint becomes part of the concept: From afar, the large-format prints display calm, floating geometric forms, while up close, the images reveal thousands of individual figures existing in interwoven systems of paths, stairs, or razor-thin planes. These figures are engaged in dreamlike struggles on the edge of stability and imbalance, connection and isolation. Admission is free. All ages are welcome.
