Curated by Guadalupe Quesada Artists: Amado Cabrales and Michelle Sáenz, Brad Greenwood, Jenna Hansen, Hallie McNeill, Celina Pereira, Elisa Pinto, Guadalupe Quesada, Cedric Tai, Taquitojocoque, Thibault Durden and Ray and Casa Lü invite you to Game Night, an exhibition that transforms the gallery into a space of play, interaction, and artistic exploration. Bringing together artists from Mexico City and Los Angeles, the show reimagines the spirit of a traditional game night—where friends, family, and community gather to engage in play, negotiation, and imagination. Through interactive pieces, participatory activities, and works that blur the boundaries between art and games, Game Night invites visitors to step beyond passive observation and become part of the experience. Collaboration, strategy, chance, and embodied interaction unfold throughout the space, encouraging visitors to engage with the unexpected and embrace the creative possibilities of play. The artists explore the idea of play using a variety of methods and media including video, collage, ceramics, painting, sculpture, and drawing. By merging art and games, Game Night creates a dynamic environment where play is both medium and message, revealing the fluidities between competition and collaboration, chance and strategy, art and life. Visitors are invited not only to view the works but to participate in them, shaping the exhibition experience as it unfolds around them. Join us. And see how the game unfolds.
