Dorado 806 Projects, in collaboration with Desert Style AZ, is pleased to present Frontier Futurism, a group exhibition reimagining the myth of the American West through a contemporary-pop lens. From cowboy iconography and desert mysticism to post-frontier identity, the show features artists who push Western aesthetics into future-facing territory through contemporary art.
Historically, the American West represented freedom, reinvention, and the promise of new beginnings — especially for those in search of opportunity and a fresh start. Today, the idea of the West continues to evolve, shaped by movement, memory, and changing borders. Frontier Futurism invites reflection on how these landscapes — once symbols of promise — are being reimagined in light of the present.
