ESMoA Experience 66: GRIEF is an immersive art exhibition inviting reflection on personal and collective loss, offering solace through the natural cycle of life. Through the perspectives of contemporary artists, the show explores the seven stages of grief, shock, denial, anger, bargaining, depression, testing, and acceptance, presented as a journey through emotional complexity. Each stage is represented through carefully selected works that evoke the depth and nuance of the grieving process. From the disorientation of shock to the quiet resilience of acceptance, the exhibition traces both the descent into sorrow and the gradual movement toward healing. By engaging with diverse artistic voices, GRIEF fosters connection, encourages introspection, and offers a space for visitors to process and honor the universal experience of loss. Experience 66: GRIEF is curated by Brenda G. Williams. Featured Artists: Alexandra Grant, Benezate of Ghana, Carolein Smit, Dana Weiser, Edgar Arceneaux, Flora Kao, Juan Escobedo, Karl Haendel, Lavialle Campbell, Lezley Saar, Martin Durazo, Rick Carter.
