Celebrate the winter solstice with a moon gazing durational performance by Rachel Beetz and Jennifer Bewerse. We will observe Jennifer’s real-time films of the year’s 12 full moons while listening to an expanded version of Rachel Beetz’s auditory hallucination drone, Pareidolia, through the 12 musical keys. Each season will be infused with a different scent. Beginning just after sunset on the longest night of the year, enter this ritual to reflect on past cycles and enter into the dark winter. Circles and Moons lasts 4 hours. You are invited to stay for the full duration or return as you need. Each moon will last approximately twenty minutes, and each season is 50-70 minutes.
