Muses, Lovers, and In-Between by Ryan Davis is a visual study of intimacy and vulnerability, exploring gender codes and kink through the lens of fashion. The work moves between masculinity and femininity, hardness and softness—finding strength in vulnerability. It does not seek to subvert masculinity in disgrace, but to honor its tenderness, creating space for Queer POC bodies who hold both with unapologetic grace. This visual diary traces the shifting relationship between lover and muse through the lens of voyeur and exhibitionist, revealing moments of tension, submission, and desire.
