ButlerJulia Meltzer is an award-winning filmmaker and the director of Clockshop, an arts organization that commissions and produces projects by artists and writers. Founded in 2004 with the mission to expand the dialogue around cultural production, politics and urban space, Clockshop has produced over 30 projects in Los Angeles over the last decade including most recently, Radio Imagination; Artists and Writers in the Archives of Octavia E. Butler, in partnership with the Huntington Library, Art Collection and Botanical Gardens and the Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena.
