a group show and film program showcasing artists and filmmakers in an exploration of fear, both individual and collective and real and imagined. The project, curated by artist Carla Jay Harris and filmmaker Erica Mountain, investigates how fear is created, retained, manifested, and played back in the minds and bodies of those who hold it. In the exhibition’s featured works, figure, emotion, environment, and psychology are inescapably linked. The artists tackle fear as it materializes in contemporary culture, pop culture, and artistic process. Artists: Alex Anderson, Ewa Budka, Mitsuko Brooks, Carla Jay Harris, Margaret Noble, Arianna Page Russell, Karim Shuquem, & Hiejin Yoo. The film program includes narrative shorts by Savannah Bloch, Emma Huibregtse, Tamar Halpern, Ellie Shoia, Zach Noe Towers Arnon Shorr, Mark Orr, Erica Mountain and Moira Lael McDonald.
