Mayor Garcetti will take the stage first to tell his own story before 10 others - selected at random from those who submit their names for consideration - who will step up to the mic to share their true personal stories tied to the theme of “HOME.” Storytellers will regale with tales of feeling right at home or trying to find it; sleeping on the streets or on a friend's sofa; or moving into that first apartment - all told live, without notes.
