In August 2005 the levees of New Orleans broke and 80% of the city was flooded for weeks. Within weeks, NY-based curator Dan Cameron, who had been a regular, longtime visitor, found himself drawn into conversations with key members the New Orleans art community about culturally rebuilding the city.
